  25. Installing Picture Puzzler:  To install to your system, 
  26. go to the Run command in Windows.  In Windows 95 this
  27. is on the Start Menu (click Start button, then click 
  28. Run) and in Windows 3.1x choose the Run option (Files 
  29. Menu) from the Program Manager.  Then type in the path 
  30. where you inserted the distriubtion disk and then 
  31. setup.exe (Ex: a:setup.exe) and press Enter.  Follow 
  32. the on screen instructions.

  37. Playing Picture Puzzler is very easy.  Start the Puzzler
  38. Program, ppuz.exe.  The steps then are:
  39.  
  40.  1.  Load an Image by choosing Open New Image 
  41.      from the File Menu
  42.  2.  Choose Scramble Puzzle from Puzzle Action Menu
  43.  3.  Choose Puzzle Type (level of difficulty)
  44.  4.  Solve Puzzle by dragging and dropping puzzle pieces.

  46. We've included some sample .bmp bitmap images for your 
  47. use.  You may use any bitmap image in Picture Puzzler.
  48. In addition to the bitmap images, there are three wave 
  49. files (yes.wav, no.wav and win.wav) that are used by 
  50. Picture Puzzler.  If you wish to have sound when playing 
  51. Picture Puzzler, be sure to keep these wave files in the
  52. Puzzler application directory.

  58. Shareware Version Differences
  59. -----------------------------
  60. Picture Puzzler is not Freeware, but Shareware.  That
  61. means you may evaluate this program for 30 days.  The
  62. only differences between this version and the registered
  63. version are:
  64.  
  65.   1.  The shareware notification window does not appear
  66.       in the registered version.
  67.   2.  The puzzle save and load saved options are
  68.       disabled in the shareware version.
  69.   3.  The create custom puzzle is disabled in the share-
  70.       ware version.

  72. If you choose to continue using this program then you must
  73. order the registered version for $15.00.  See ordering 
  74. information from the Help menu for more details.

  79. There is one change and two added features in this 
  80. version of Picture Puzzler.  Version 3.2 now
  81. supports many different image formats including BMP,
  82. PCX, GIF, JPG, TGA, TIFF, and others.  
  83.  
  84. Also in the registered version you may save an 
  85. uncompleted puzzle to disk.  The save option is in 
  86. the file menu and is saved with a .PUZ extension.

  88. Also, you now may associate a music midi file with
  89. Picture Puzzler.  We've included a sample file, HOT.MID,
  90. for you.  You can change the default on this from the
  91. options menu.
